Controller and contact

The operator of the website betano-kasino.cz is responsible, as controller, for the personal data processed on this website. Please send questions about the processing and requests by which you exercise your rights as a data subject to contact@betano-kasino.cz.

What data the website processes

The website works only with what it needs to run, to protect itself and to measure traffic, or to be able to reply to you:

  • technical traces of a visit: IP address, device type, operating system, browser, time of access and the addresses (URLs) of the pages viewed;
  • cookies, covered in detail in the section Cookies on this website;
  • an e-mail sent to contact@betano-kasino.cz: the sender's address, the text of the message and any signature.

The website does not process data about gambling, identity verification or payments, and it has no access at all to the data of Betano players.

Why, on what basis and for how long

The framework is formed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data, and for cookies Section 89 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications. In detail:

  • Running and protecting the website relies on the controller's legitimate interest under point (f) of Art. 6(1) GDPR. Period: 12 months at most, or as technical options allow.
  • Handling your e-mail relies on the performance of a contract or on legitimate interest, that is on point (b) or (f) of the same provision. Period: while it is being handled, 6 months at most.
  • Analytics and marketing cookies are stored only with your consent under point (a) of the same provision. Period: until you withdraw consent, or according to your browser settings.

Who gets access to the data

Access is limited to suppliers without whom the website would not run or we would not know how it is used:

  • hosting and CDN providers, who keep the website up, available and protected;
  • web analytics providers, whose traffic statistics show us what to improve on the website.

We name them only where they are publicly identifiable on the website. We give the data to no one else, meaning neither to third parties without a legal title nor to entities that have not been verified.

Transfers outside the EU and EEA

If we use an analytics tool from a provider based outside the EU and EEA, personal data are transferred to a third country. An adequate level of protection is then ensured by standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 GDPR. Where no service outside the EU/EEA is used, no transfer takes place.

Your rights

The GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. allow you to:

  • access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • request erasure, that is exercise the "right to be forgotten", where the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR are met,
  • want us to restrict the processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • use data portability where automated processing is based on consent or a contract (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • object to processing that rests on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • withdraw your consent where the processing is based on it; this does not affect the lawfulness of the processing before the withdrawal.

How to exercise your rights and where to complain

Send your request to contact@betano-kasino.cz. We reply without undue delay, but no later than 30 days after delivery. If a request is complex or more of them arrive, the period may stretch by another two months; we will let you know.

Do you think we have broken the law when processing your data? Complaints are received by the supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection, based at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7; the authority's website: www.uoou.cz.

Security

Communication between your device and the server is encrypted with the HTTPS/TLS protocol. Access to the data is protected by technical and organisational measures that match the current state of the art, and the controller reviews them regularly to prevent unauthorised access and misuse.

Cookies on this website

A cookie is a tiny text file that the website saves on your device. Cookies make the website work properly and allow traffic to be measured; some may help to tailor content or advertising.

  • Necessary ones take care of the basic functions of the website and may be used without consent (Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll.).
  • Analytics ones collect anonymised statistics on how the website is used and are stored only with your consent.
  • Marketing ones enable personalised advertising and tracking of users across websites; they too need consent.

The website remembers your consent decision in the ck-consent record, whose lifetime depends on your browser settings.
